Event Overview: Celebrating World Intellectual Property Day 2026

The Nepal – USA Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NUSACCI) successfully organised a high-level Interaction Program on April 26, 2026, to commemorate World Intellectual Property (IP) Day. The event, held at the Hotel Dusit Princess in Kathmandu, brought together policymakers, legal experts, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss the evolving landscape of intellectual property rights in Nepal.

Promoting Innovation and Protection

This year’s World IP Day theme served as the backdrop for a series of insightful discussions focused on how IP rights can foster innovation and drive economic growth. As Nepal continues to integrate into the global market, the protection of trademarks, patents, and copyrights has become a cornerstone for attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and protecting local creativity.
